How self-heating works
Self-heating adds cold-weather charging support to a battery made for everyday use. When cold cells need warming, the built-in heater draws power from a connected charger. Charging begins after the cells reach the required temperature. The heater operates automatically when needed.

Compatibility
Use with compatible 12V RV appliances, fish finders, lighting and off-grid systems. Check your equipment’s voltage, running current and startup demand against the battery’s ratings. For AC appliances, use a compatible inverter sized to your loads.
Connect up to four matching batteries in series, or up to four in parallel. Match the charger and connected equipment to the completed bank’s voltage.
IP65 protection covers dust and water jets. Install the battery where it will not be submerged.

When the cells are cold, the heater warms them before charging. The charging temperature range refers to the cells, rather than the surrounding air.
Care
Store in a dry place between 32°F and 113°F (0°C to 45°C). Keep the terminals clean and secure. No electrolyte top-ups are needed.
